    Hyderabad: The new Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, has stated that his top priority is to ensure the safety and security of the citizens. He recently took charge from Stephen Raveendra, who has been transferred to the DGP office. Speaking to the media, Mohanty emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and being fair to everyone who approaches the police.

    There have been an increase in cyber and economic fraud cases in Cyberabad. Mohanty assured that all investigations will be conducted professionally and with fairness. In terms of traffic, the police will work closely with other agencies to address traffic-related issues, especially in areas with high traffic density. Additionally, strong enforcement will be implemented to combat illegal activities such as drugs, women trafficking, land mafia, and economic offenses.

    Mohanty has previous experience in Cyberabad as DCP (traffic) and later served as Joint Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) in Hyderabad.
