Auto driver from Guntur falls prey to kidney racket after drowning in debts

A 31-year-old auto driver from Guntur fell victim to a kidney racket after accumulating debts from loan apps. Madhu Babu, desperate to repay his debts, was approached by an agent who told him about an ad on Facebook offering Rs 30 lakh for a kidney donation.

Babu agreed to “donate” his kidney, and fake documents were created to make it happen. The surgery allegedly took place at Vijaya Super Speciality Hospital in Vijayawada. However, after seven months, Babu only received Rs 50,000 of the promised amount.

Feeling frustrated and cheated, Madhu Babu decided to expose the kidney racket to the media and share the shocking details of his ordeal.
