The annual ‘Numaish’ event in Hyderabad has become even more exciting with the addition of an underwater aqua tunnel. This tunnel, which is 180 degrees, allows visitors to explore the underwater world without getting wet. Families and children have been enjoying running after colorful fish and taking selfies with marine creatures. The tunnel has quickly become a popular attraction, attracting thousands of visitors in just four days. One family even traveled from Tolichowki just to see the aquarium after seeing it on social media.

The tunnel is made of high-quality acrylic glass, providing a clear view of the aquatic life inside. It houses over 20,000 fish from 100 different species, including catfish, alligator, angelfish, and clownfish. These fish are obtained from Malaysia and Kerala. The tunnel is divided into different tanks, each with its own temperature and salinity levels to ensure the survival of the fish. Visitors can see fish ranging from one inch to three feet long, including the intriguing Alligator gar fish.

To maintain the tunnel’s cleanliness, freshwater is regularly changed and filtered, and chemicals like iodine and salt are added to maintain the pH level of the water. The team also monitors the eating patterns of the fish to ensure their well-being.
