Mancherial: Athletes Encouraged to Excel in Sports
District Collector Kumar Deepak has urged athletes from Mancherial district to aim for success at both the state and national level, bringing pride to the district.
On Thursday, sports equipment was distributed to players at the Khelo India Coaching Center. The event took place at the Collectorate, where District Youth Sports Officer K. Rajveer was also present. During the distribution, the Collector emphasized the importance of athletes participating in competitions and winning medals for the district.
He further mentioned that the government is taking several steps to promote sports. As part of these efforts, sports equipment worth Rs 2,36,943 was provided to the coaching center, funded by the Khelo India program. The Collector encouraged athletes training at the center to make the most of the equipment to enhance their skills and achieve greater success in sports.
