The Telangana Group-1 Officers Association is requesting the government to ensure that all Group-1 positions receive equal pay. They met with the chairman of the PRC, Shiva Shankar, to discuss this issue. The president of the association, Mamindla Chandrashekhar Goud, highlighted the salary disparities among Group-1 posts appointed through different notifications. They have submitted proposals to address this issue to the government.

Additionally, the association is urging the PRC Commission to propose the establishment of a Telangana Administrative Service that includes Group-1 officers. They also want Group-1 posts to be considered as State Civil Services and for Group-1 officers to be appointed as additional collectors of local bodies. The association is concerned about the lengthy promotion processes in many departments and is asking for time-bound promotions.
