The budget session of the Assembly will begin on Thursday and arrangements have been made to ensure its smooth conduct. For security reasons, access for visitors will be limited this time. There will be a strong presence of security forces around the Assembly to prevent protests against the government.
During the session, top officials will be present in the Assembly to answer questions from the members. The chief secretary has been directed to appoint a senior IAS officer to coordinate all departments and provide answers to the members. Ministers will also be responsible for answering questions during the question hour. The debates will be closely monitored by officials from the respective departments to ensure they run smoothly.
The constitution of the Assembly committees will be finalized soon and an orientation program will be given to the newly elected members of the Council and Legislative Assembly.
