Sitaram Yechury, leader of the CPM political party, met with Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and head of the AAP party, to discuss the Centre’s ordinance on control of services. Yechury condemned the ordinance and extended his party’s support to the AAP. He urged all opposition parties to speak out against the ordinance and protect themselves from the encroachment on the Constitution by the Modi government. Kejriwal expressed gratitude to Yechury and other leaders who supported him in his fight against the Centre’s unjust actions towards the people of Delhi.
Yechury and other CPI(M) leaders also organized a rally in support of the people of Delhi and will stand with them in Parliament as well. The Modi government is acting like a dictator in Delhi and not allowing them to work, Kejriwal added.
