VIZAG: Andhra Pradesh Women and Child Welfare Minister Sandhya Rani narrowly avoided a serious accident on Thursday morning. She was on her way to visit the Mentada mandal in Vizianagaram district when the incident occurred.

As the convoy was passing through Ramabhadrapuram near Arikatota, one of the escort vehicles had a tyre burst. This caused the vehicle to lose control and collide with an oncoming minivan. The accident resulted in injuries to two security personnel and three passengers in the van.

Fortunately, Minister Sandhya Rani, who was traveling in a car right behind the vehicle involved in the accident, was not harmed. Bystanders and officials were relieved that the minister was safe.
