Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Youth Advancement, RK Roja, has expressed her unwavering support for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, even if she is not given a ticket in the 2024 Assembly elections. Roja visited the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala to offer special prayers. She criticized the opposition parties and some media outlets for spreading false rumors that she would not receive a ticket in the next elections.
Roja emphasized her loyalty to YS Jagan, stating that she is committed to being at the forefront of government programs. She even declared her readiness to sacrifice her life for him. Regardless of whether she receives a ticket or not, she will continue to support YS Jagan and work towards achieving the Chief Minister’s goal of “Why Not 175.”
Regarding her own candidacy in the upcoming elections, Roja stated that she plans to contest but will strictly follow the Chief Minister’s suggestions. She offered prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy to bless YS Jagan once again as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Taking a swipe at the opposition parties and some media outlets, Roja pointed out that they do not have candidates for all 175 Assembly constituencies in the State. She also ridiculed TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan for relying on survey reports to determine their contesting constituencies.
