Annual Brahmotsavam Celebrations Begin at Jogulamba Temple
The annual Brahmotsavam festivities at the Jogulamba temple in Gadwal have started with devotion and grandeur. These celebrations will take place from January 30 to February 3.
On the first day, special rituals were held to mark the beginning of the event. Early in the morning at 8:00 AM, ceremonies such as the divine acceptance of the Lord’s command (Swami Vari Anati Sweekaranam), Ritwik Varunam, and Maha Kalasha Sthapana were performed. Later, at 6:00 PM, the sacred Dwajarohanam, or the hoisting of the temple flag, was carried out with great reverence.
The event was attended by Honorable MLA Vijayudu, who participated as the chief guest. The temple’s Executive Officer (EO), Chairman, members of the Dharma Kartha Mandali, and numerous devotees also took part in the celebrations. Many came to seek the blessings of Goddess Jogulamba during this auspicious occasion.
