    Sunday marked the completion of 10 years since the formation of Telangana, the 29th youngest Indian state after a long struggle for statehood. This milestone holds great historical and cultural significance for the people, representing their pride and identity.

    To celebrate the 10th formation day, various festivities and events were organized across the state. Cultural programs, music and dance performances, and art exhibitions brought the state alive with colors and traditions. The day serves as a platform for unity and community involvement among diverse communities in Telangana.

    During the celebrations, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy unveiled the government’s vision for the future at Parade grounds. He emphasized on laying a strong foundation for the state’s progress through long-term plans like the ‘Green Telangana – 2050 Master Plan’. The government also highlighted welfare initiatives and development projects, such as Musi Riverfront Development Project and measures to combat drug issues.

    Revanth Reddy announced that Hyderabad will no longer be the joint capital of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, resolving to make Hyderabad a global brand. He outlined plans for dividing Telangana into urban, suburban, and rural zones for development, with clear strategies for infrastructure creation.

    The Chief Minister emphasized Telangana’s history of freedom and resistance to injustice, showcasing initiatives by the Congress government to empower the people. He also acknowledged the support of political leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Meira Kumar, and Sushma Swaraj in the statehood movement.

    Releasing the official state song ‘Jaya Jaya he Telangana’ penned by Andesri, Revanth Reddy highlighted ongoing efforts to create a new emblem and Telangana Talli statue reflecting the aspirations of the people.
