The city of Hyderabad is gearing up to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti, which is one of the most important festivals for the Hindu community. The festival marks the birth of Lord Hanuman, who is considered to be one of the most revered deities in Hindu mythology. The festival is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm across the country, and Hyderabad is no exception.

However, with the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti comes the need for traffic restrictions in the city. The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced restrictions on the movement of vehicles in certain areas of the city to ensure the smooth conduct of the Hanuman Jayanti procession.

The procession will start from the historic Kachiguda Hanuman temple and will pass through various areas of the city before culminating at the same temple. The procession is expected to attract a large number of devotees, and hence, it is imperative to ensure that there are no traffic snarls or accidents during the event.

The traffic restrictions will be in place from 6 am to 2 pm on the day of the procession. The roads that will be closed for vehicular traffic include the stretch from Kachiguda Railway Station to Kachiguda X Roads, Narayanguda X Roads to RTC Crossroads, and RTC Crossroads to Chaderghat Bridge. The police have advised motorists to use alternate routes during this time to avoid any inconvenience.

In addition to the traffic restrictions, the police have also deployed additional personnel to manage the crowd during the procession. The police have urged people to follow COVID-19 protocols such as wearing masks and maintaining social distancing while participating in the procession.

The Hanuman Jayanti procession is an important cultural event in Hyderabad, and it is heartening to see that the authorities are taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the citizens. The traffic restrictions may cause some inconvenience to motorists, but it is a small price to pay for ensuring the smooth conduct of the procession.

In conclusion, the announcement of traffic restrictions in Hyderabad for the Hanuman Jayanti procession is a welcome move. It is important to ensure that such cultural events are conducted in a safe and secure manner, and the traffic restrictions are a step in the right direction. We hope that the citizens of Hyderabad will cooperate with the authorities and make this year’s Hanuman Jayanti procession a grand success.
