    Anjan Chakraborty, an IPS officer from the 2006 batch, has been appointed by the Election Commission of India to monitor the role of police in the upcoming elections for Telangana Legislative Assembly seats. Chakraborty, who is currently serving as the ACB Director in West Bengal, has arrived in Mulugu district for this purpose.

    During his time in Mulugu district, Chakraborty will oversee the operations of check posts and the police department during the election process. He will stay in the district until the elections are concluded.

    The program to welcome Chakraborty was attended by Additional SP Sadanandam, DSP Mulugu Ravinder, CI Kiran, Admin RI Satish, RI Home Guards Venkatanarayana, and SI Tajuddin.
