She criticized the previous YSR Congress Party government for creating illusions about the non-existence of the Disha Act. Anitha assured that the current administration will not take any biased actions against police officers and emphasized their responsibility to bring wrongdoers to justice.

Addressing problems faced by police officers under the previous regime, Anitha promised that the TDP government would resolve issues related to salaries and dues. She also shared plans to reform the police department from the lower levels and expressed concern over some IPS officers acting as pawns for the opposition party, leading to a loss of respect for the police over the past five years.
