Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy dismissed the allegations against the Congress government regarding Amrut tenders. He mentioned that while Srujan Reddy might be a distant relative of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Srujan had been a business partner of Kalvakuntla Kavitha for nearly ten years. Komatireddy found the comments made by the BRS working president about the Amrut tenders to be a joke and assured that the government was ready to investigate the matter.

Speaking to the media, the Roads and Buildings Minister accused BRS leader K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) of traveling to Delhi to try to influence the ongoing cases against him. He recalled how KTR had criticized the BJP-led central government when he was in power, but now, after losing influence, KTR was talking about democratic values. Komatireddy added that KTR, who had never raised serious issues with the Centre while in power, was now engaging in theatrics to protect himself.

The Minister further described KTR’s actions as diversionary tactics. He suggested that KTR went to Delhi out of fear concerning the Formula E race case. Komatireddy also challenged BRS leaders, asking if they were willing to accept an investigation into the Kaleshwaram Project while also demanding a probe into the Amrut tenders.
