    Congress Leaders Demand Apology from Amit Shah Over Remarks on Dr B R Ambedkar

    In Nalgonda, the District Congress Committee (DCC) President Kethavath Shankar Naik and Nalgonda town president Gummula Mohan Reddy have called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah to apologise for his alleged inappropriate comments about Dr B R Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.

    Speaking at a press meet, they were joined by Municipal Chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy. The leaders highlighted that the Indian Constitution is admired worldwide and that Dr Ambedkar is a globally respected figure. They stressed the need to uphold his legacy and demanded respect for his immense contributions.

    The Congress leaders also announced plans to organise a rally in Nalgonda on Monday. The rally will start from Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s camp office and proceed to the Collectorate, where a memorandum will be submitted. This initiative aims to demonstrate their strong disapproval of the comments made by Amit Shah.

    They further shared that several Congress MLAs, party leaders, workers, and affiliated organizations will actively participate in the rally. Among those present at the press meet were Nalgonda Market Committee Chairman Jukuri Ramesh and Congress leaders Nandyala Veera Brahmananda Reddy, Pilli Ramesh Yadav, Kinnera Anji, Perla Eshwar, and others.
