Amit Shah commended the state government for reducing the Naxal (Maoist) threat, especially in the border districts of Chhattisgarh. These areas, including the former Khammam, Warangal, and Adilabad districts, were previously heavily impacted by extremist activities.

Telangana’s Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, along with the Director General of Police (DGP) Dr. Jitendar, explained the state’s strategy to combat Maoist activities. They highlighted efforts to keep young people away from extremist ideologies. The DGP also informed Amit Shah about the increased surveillance in areas affected by Maoists and the steps taken to stop the movement of Naxals from neighboring states.
