Film Actor Allu Arjun’s Father-in-Law Meets Congress Leaders Over Sandhya Theatre Incident

Hyderabad: Kancherla Chandrashekhar Reddy, father-in-law of actor Allu Arjun, sought help from top Congress leaders following the controversy surrounding the Sandhya Theatre incident. Chandrashekhar Reddy, who is also a member of the Congress party, met with Deepa Das Munshi, the state AICC in-charge, at Gandhi Bhavan. He also reached out to TPCC Chief B Mahesh Kumar Goud.

Amid recent developments, Chandrashekhar Reddy approached AICC leaders to address the challenges Allu Arjun has been facing. During the meeting, he attempted to have a separate discussion with Deepa Das Munshi. However, she reportedly declined to engage in the matter. Following her refusal, Chandrashekhar Reddy left Gandhi Bhavan without further discussion.

Sources revealed that this outreach was prompted by incidents at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2. The actor, seeking to resolve the situation, reportedly decided to initiate reconciliation efforts by connecting with senior Congress leaders. To take this forward, Chandrashekhar Reddy was sent to meet the party’s leadership.

When questioned by the media, Chandrashekhar Reddy avoided detailed comments and simply stated that he was meeting senior leaders as a Congress member. Meanwhile, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud contacted him by phone to discuss the issue further.

Speaking to the media later, Mahesh Kumar Goud mentioned, “I suggested that we arrange a time to meet in the next couple of days.”
