A new Parliament building is being built in New Delhi, India as part of the “Central Vista Redevelopment Project.” The project aims to improve the central government district and provide modern facilities for India’s legislative body. The new building will cost Rs 862 crores and is being built by Tata Projects Limited. It was designed by HCP Design, Planning and Management Pvt. Ltd. and Bimal Patel. The design features a triangular shape with a central courtyard and blends traditional Indian elements with contemporary features.

The new Parliament building will be earthquake resistant and last more than 150 years. It will have state-of-the-art facilities, including larger chambers for both houses of Parliament, modern committee rooms, and offices for Members of Parliament. It will also have eco-friendly features such as modern office spaces, a first-rate library, and spacious committee rooms with the newest audio-visual equipment.

Members can socialize in the central lounge, which is designed to go well with the open courtyard. The building’s grounds will also be Divyanga-friendly, with wheelchair accessible MP booths, public restrooms, and ramps at some entrances.
