During her visit to Desi Itikala village, Dr. Swarajyalakshmi supervised the ongoing vaccination drive. She highlighted the importance of achieving 100% immunization for children and instructed the staff to ensure all vaccination details of pregnant women and children are properly entered into the U-WIN portal.

At the primary health centers, she reviewed attendance registers, vaccine stocks, and other records. She urged the staff to focus on increasing institutional deliveries and emphasized the need to identify high-risk pregnant women early. Plans should then be made to ensure their safe delivery and healthy motherhood.

Dr. Swarajyalakshmi also stressed the importance of using 102 ambulance services effectively for prenatal check-ups and child immunizations. She directed the staff to update seasonal disease data promptly on the IHIP portal.

To prevent chronic illnesses, she advised that all individuals over the age of 30 visiting the hospitals should undergo screening for hypertension and diabetes. This proactive approach, she said, would help in early detection and management of these conditions.

The inspections were conducted with the support of Program Officer Dr. Ravikumar, MPHEO Rajesh, and DVLM Kumar, who accompanied her to the various centers.
