Traffic Advisory Issued for Air Show at Tank Bund
Hyderabad’s city traffic police have issued a traffic advisory in connection with the Indian Air Force’s Air Show over Hussain Sagar at Tank Bund on Sunday. Traffic diversions will be implemented on a need basis from 2 PM to 9 PM.
Traffic coming from Raj Bhavan and Panjagutta will not be allowed towards the Khairtabad flyover. Instead, vehicles will be diverted at the VV Statue towards Shadan, Nirankari, and the old Saifabad Police Station.
Similarly, vehicles heading from the Khairtabad flyover towards NTR Marg will be diverted at the Indira Gandhi statue (Necklace Rotary). These vehicles will be directed towards PVNR Marg, Necklace Road, Prasads IMAX, or the Mint Compound Lane.
For traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tank Bund, the diversion will occur at the old Telugu Thalli Junction, redirecting vehicles towards Iqbal Minar.
Vehicles approaching Iqbal Minar from Nirankari Junction and its surroundings will be diverted towards Ravindra Bharathi. Similarly, traffic from the old Saifabad Police Station heading towards Iqbal Minar will also be redirected to Ravindra Bharathi.
Traffic from Dhobi Ghat heading to Children’s Park or Upper Tank Bund will be diverted at DBR Mills towards Kavadiguda Crossroads. Additionally, vehicles coming from CGO Towers towards the Sailing Club will also be rerouted at Kavadiguda Crossroads towards DBR Mills and Jabbar Complex.
For traffic coming from Ranigunj towards Upper Tank Bund, diversions will be made at Karbala Maidan, redirecting vehicles towards Bible House.
Inter-district RTC buses traveling from Secunderabad to MGBS via Tank Bund will be diverted at the Sweekar-Upakar Junction. These buses will be rerouted through Sangeeth, Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Nallakunta, Fever Hospital Crossroads, Barkathpura, Tourist Hotel, Nimboli Adda, Chaderghat, Rangmahal, and finally to MGBS. City buses heading towards Tank Bund will also be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and follow the instructions of traffic personnel to avoid inconvenience.
