Mohammed Mubeen, the AIMIM Bahadurpura MLA, was detained by authorities during a major encroachment removal drive carried out by HYDRA in Shastripuram. The drive, initiated by the Telangana government, targeted unlawful constructions around the Nehr-e-Hussaini and Bum Rukn Ud Dawla lakes, aiming to restore and protect these vital water bodies.

As part of the operation, HYDRA officials demolished illegal structures that had sprung up around the lakes. In a preemptive move, MLA Mubeen was placed under house arrest to prevent any interference with the demolition efforts. The Telangana government’s HYDRA task force, established to address such encroachments, led the large-scale operation in Shastripuram, emphasizing the importance of preserving these historic lakes for future generations.
