Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakre has announced that providing free power supply to farmers will be one of the promises of his party in the upcoming Assembly polls. They are also considering other ways to support farmers. This statement comes after state Congress president A Revanth Reddy allegedly stated that three hours of free power is sufficient for farmers and continuous electricity supply is not necessary. Congress sources claim that some people are trying to twist Revanth’s speech for political gain. Revanth himself denies making any such statement during his attendance at the TANA meeting.
