    Gadwal: Officials have released water from the Tummilla (Lift) project to help farmers in the Alampur constituency. This initiative was led by AICC Secretary and former MLA, Dr. SA Sampath Kumar. The event took place on Tuesday morning and aimed to provide irrigation water to farmers in Iza Vaddepalli, Rajoli, and Manavapadu mandals.

    Dr. SA Sampath Kumar emphasized the Congress government’s dedication to supporting farmers since taking power in Telangana. He specifically thanked Revanth Reddy for his ongoing support to the farming community.

    Recently, water was also released through the RDS right canal for Kharif cultivation. Now, the release of water from the Tummilla Lift reservoir has brought joy to the farmers in the region. Dr. Sampath Kumar expressed that the people of Alampur constituency are grateful for these efforts.

    Despite attempts by the opposition to create obstacles, the Congress party has remained committed to farmer welfare, including implementing farmer loan waivers. Dr. Sampath Kumar assured that all construction work related to Mallamma Kunta would be sped up to further benefit the farmers.
