    The AICC announced five candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. The candidates are Gaddam Vamsi Krishna, Sunitha Mahender Reddy, Danam Nagender, Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, and Mallu Ravi.

    Three of the candidates recently joined from BRS, while the other two are relatives of current legislators. Vamsi Krishna is the son of MLA Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, and Mallu Ravi is the brother of Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. Ranjith Reddy is a sitting MP who has moved from BRS. Sunitha is the former ZP chairperson of RR and the wife of former Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy. Danam Nagender, the sitting MLA from Khairatabad, is the latest leader from BRS to join Congress.

    These five candidates are part of the 2nd list of 57 names announced by the party across the country. The total number of candidates cleared by the party for Lok Sabha elections in Telangana is now 9 out of 17 constituencies. The remaining 8 names are still under consideration and will likely be released in a couple of weeks.
