    Agriculture College Students Provide Food to Elderly During NSS Camp

    Nagar Kurnool: Students from Palem Agricultural College took part in activities on the sixth day of an NSS (National Service Scheme) camp held in Thudukurthi village, Nagarkurnool Mandal.

    As part of the camp, a drawing competition was organized for schoolchildren. A total of 25 students from the village participated, and first, second, and third-place winners were selected.

    The students then visited an old-age home in Wattem village. During their visit, they distributed fruits, biscuits, bread, and other essential food items to the elderly residents.

    In addition to these activities, the students whitewashed the library in Thudukurthi village, giving it a fresh, clean look. They also took part in a Swachh Bharat cleanliness drive, where they cleaned the area around the village’s electrical substation and removed weeds.

    The entire program was supervised by the NSS program officers, Dr. Etela Satyanarayana and Dr. Sadhana.
