    On Wednesday, the EAMCET entrance exam for the Agriculture and Medical stream took place at 95 centres in Telangana and 18 in Andhra Pradesh. Over 91% of the candidates registered showed up for the exam. Meanwhile, out of 57,578 applicants registered for the engineering stream, 52,855 attended both sessions. However, some students missed the exam as they were a minute late.

    Officials from the Higher Education Department reported that the exams were conducted peacefully with no untoward incidents in Hyderabad. The Chairman of TSCHE, Prof R Limbadri, visited a few test centres and confirmed that the exams were peaceful.
