    Agarwal Samaj Telangana is celebrating the 5147th Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav this year. The festival will have different activities and the main event will be held at the Classic Convention in Shamshabad on Sunday. The Governor of Telangana and an advisor to the Chief Minister of Telangana will be the guest of honour. Cultural programs in collaboration with Rangthali Sansthan, Dandiya are planned and around 5000 Agrabandhus are expected to participate.

    On October 15, Maharaj Agrasen ji will be worshiped at Agrasen Chowk and garlands will be placed on his statue. Union Minister, Kishan Reddy will be the chief guest for this program.

    The festival started on September 24 with a treasure hunt competition and various indoor sports tournaments were organized. Additionally, the Agra Akhand Jyot Rath Yatra was inaugurated. The Rath Yatra started from Secunderabad Agrasen Bhawan and will visit all the branches of Agarwal Samaj before ending on the main event day.
