    The first batch of Agniveers took an oath to serve their country at the Artillery Centre in Hyderabad. There were 1500 Agniveers who completed 24 weeks of physically grueling, mentally demanding, and professionally enriching training. 132 Agniveers were inducted into the Indian Army and will join their parent Artillery Regiments soon. The ceremony was attended by parents, military, and civilian dignitaries. Brigadier Rajiv Chauhan congratulated the parents and wished all the Agniveers good luck. He also mentioned that the Agniveers would play a vital role in nation-building. The discipline and camaraderie they learned during training would help them serve in the army and beyond.
