Senior Congress leader Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani has taken charge as the chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee. The ceremony took place in his office on the second floor of the Haj House in Nampally on Monday.
G Prasad Kumar, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Telangana, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Advisor for SC/ST/BC and Minority Welfare Department of the Telangana government, Syed Azmathullah Hussaini, Chairman of TSWB, and other members of the Telangana State Haj Committee were present at the event. Also in attendance were Shaik Ilyakat Hussain, the Executive Officer of TSHC, along with other senior Congress leaders, religious scholars, and dignitaries.
