The opposition party, Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A.), gathered for the second day in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party convenor, spoke at a press conference and criticized the Modi government, calling it the most corrupt in independent India’s history.
Kejriwal emphasized that the INDIA Alliance is not just a coalition of a few parties but a coalition of 140 crore Indians. Many people from all over the country have come together to work towards building a better India.
Without mentioning Adani by name, Kejriwal expressed sadness over the fact that the Modi government is allegedly working for one man. He stated that foreign publications have reported that this individual is transferring money from India to other countries, with the government’s assistance.
Kejriwal also highlighted the unemployment issue among India’s youth. Despite holding degrees, many young people struggle to find work. When they approach the government for help, they find that it is allegedly focused on benefiting one man and is corrupt.
Regarding inflation, Kejriwal criticized the government for its failure to address rising expenses while income remains constant. He referred to the Modi government as the most arrogant in history and warned that those who see themselves as gods will eventually fall.
Kejriwal also addressed attempts to create divisions within the opposition coalition. He assured that there is no infighting among the parties in the INDIA alliance and that they are united in their goal to save the country and take it forward.
In the coming days, there may be attempts to show conflicts within the alliance, but Kejriwal affirmed that everyone is supporting each other with love and respect. The focus is on serving the 140 crore people of India and promoting progress.
