BJP leader Maheshwar Reddy predicted that his party would win 10 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and said he would quit politics if the ruling Congress party wins 14 seats. He criticized the Congress government, stating that there were no schemes, only scams and irregularities.
The BJP held a preparatory meeting for the Lok Sabha elections in Adilabad district, where Maheshwar Reddy participated. He questioned why promises were not being fulfilled even after 100 days of the government formation. Reddy accused Congress leaders of making false promises to win elections and engaging in corrupt practices.
Reddy also mentioned illegal land disputes involving CM Revanth Reddy during BRS party’s rule, claiming that the same lands were now in the hands of miscreants. He expressed willingness to engage in an open debate on the land grabbing issue.
Taking aim at rival party MLA KTR, Reddy commented on Kavitha’s arrest and the phone tapping issue. He suggested that KTR was worried about potential consequences and implied that he would face repercussions soon. Reddy also addressed rumors of conspiracies against him, attributing them to Revanth Reddy’s fear of losing the CM’s seat.
