    District additional collector Cheerla Srinivas Sagar in Gadwal urged voters to exercise their right to vote in order to elect righteous individuals for a better future. A Sweep program was organized at MALD College as part of an awareness meeting for voters, as instructed by the Election Commission.

    Sagar emphasized the importance of choosing the right candidates without giving in to temptations. The Election Commission has organized competitions such as street plays, songs, and essay-writing specifically for intermediate and degree students to educate them about the voting process. Sagar added that democracy can only thrive if the right government is elected through righteous voting.

    He advised voters to consider the past and present actions of the candidates before casting their vote. Former Election Commissioner TN Seshan made significant reforms in the election system, and there is a need for further improvements.

    During the meeting, students from the college demonstrated how to vote in a proper and fair manner. The event was attended by ED of SC Corporation Ramesh Babu, nodal officer Hridaya Raju, BC welfare officer Swetha Priyadarshini, and employment officer Priyanka.
