District additional collector Cheerla Srinivas Sagar in Gadwal urged voters to exercise their right to vote in order to elect righteous individuals for a better future. A Sweep program was organized at MALD College as part of an awareness meeting for voters, as instructed by the Election Commission.
Sagar emphasized the importance of choosing the right candidates without giving in to temptations. The Election Commission has organized competitions such as street plays, songs, and essay-writing specifically for intermediate and degree students to educate them about the voting process. Sagar added that democracy can only thrive if the right government is elected through righteous voting.
