    Veteran Actor Mohan Babu Seeks Anticipatory Bail in Journalist Attack Case

    Hyderabad: Veteran actor Mohan Babu has filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Telangana High Court. The petition, submitted on Friday, requested exemption from arrest in an attempt-to-murder case registered against him in a Hyderabad police station.

    In his plea, Mohan Babu also requested the court to instruct the police to halt any further investigation into the matter. The case has sparked significant attention in the media and public.

    The incident occurred two days ago when reporters gathered outside Mohan Babu’s residence to report on alleged family disputes. During the confrontation, the actor reportedly assaulted some journalists. One reporter from a TV news channel sustained head injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

    Following the incident, Mohan Babu issued an unconditional apology to journalists through an audio message on Thursday. However, he also questioned why members of the press entered his residence without his permission, raising concerns about privacy and boundaries.
