The leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, K Chandrashekar Rao, has announced that the party is making progress in Maharashtra. The BRS is becoming a bigger force in the state, and other political parties are worried. Many leaders from Maharashtra have joined the BRS, and many more are planning to do so. The BRS is preparing for local body elections, and is expanding its membership drive.
K Chandrashekar Rao has called on party workers to expand the party’s reach by visiting every area of Maharashtra with the slogan ‘Ab ki baar Kisan Sarkar’ from May 10 to June 10. The party is also organizing training camps for party workers on May 8 and 9.
The BRS is appointing district level coordinators and assembly constituency level in-charges, and will soon complete appointments for the rest of the assembly constituencies. The party is also expanding its organizational network by creating party panels at the ward level and village level.
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Zaheerabad MP BB Patil, Government Whip Balka Suman, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and S Madhusudhana Chary, MLA Jogu Ramanna, and leaders from Maharashtra including BRS Kisan Cell (Maharashtra) chief Manik Kadam and Shankaranna Donge were present at the meeting.
