The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) stated that they oppose the laying of the foundation for the new State High Court building on lands belonging to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University (PJTSAU). The ABVP’s fight against this decision, which began with GO 55 alienating 100 acres of PJTSAU for the building, will continue.

According to ABVP State universities convenor Jeevan, the State government and agriculture university officials collaborated to take over the university land with the help of police. Jeevan criticized the government for using JCBs to destroy 10 acres of medicinal plants on the site. He also mentioned that heavy police presence at the university is intimidating students by threatening arrests and false cases.
