Janampally Anirudh Reddy, the second MLA from Jadcherla constituency in Telangana, won as the Congress party candidate against BRS candidate Laxma Reddy in Jadcherla.
Anirudh Reddy, born in 1980, graduated in Computer Science Engineering and worked as an entrepreneur before entering social work. He started his political journey a decade ago by addressing local issues and forming the ‘Anirudh Yuva Sena’ to engage with village youths.
Despite facing setbacks in his political career, Anirudh persisted in activism, opposing the BRS government and earning a reputation as a strong political figure. Inspired by Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, he undertook a 100-day ‘Jadcherla Hat Jodo Yatra’ to connect with residents and address local issues.
Anirudh aims to develop Jadcherla comprehensively by building a ring road, attracting industries for growth, creating job opportunities, and improving infrastructure. He plans to donate shoes to school children, provide digital learning tools, and add classrooms to schools for better education. At 42 years old, Anirudh is seen as a dynamic youth leader by the people of Jadcherla.
