Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy said that every Hindu festival has a deep meaning and is based on science. He explained that these festivals help remind people to stay united, no matter their differences.
He spoke at the BJP State office during a Ugadi celebration, where party leaders and members gathered for the traditional Panchanga Sravanam. Ugadi marks the Telugu New Year, which this year is called Sri Vishwavasu Nama Samvatsara. Reddy wished all Telugu-speaking people a happy and prosperous Ugadi.
He shared his hopes for more development in Telangana and the entire country. He said that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India should continue to grow and earn more respect globally. He encouraged party workers to stay committed and work hard to make the BJP stronger in the coming year.
Reddy also mentioned that the BJP has already set up local committees at the booth, mandal, and district levels. He said that the State and national-level committees will be formed soon. Earlier in the event, Dr. Kakunuri Suryanarayana Murthy read the Panchanga Shravanam. After the celebrations, Reddy and other BJP members listened to Prime Minister Modi’s Mann Ki Baat radio program together.
