The minister, along with Mahabubabad MP Balaram Naik, handed over 117 renovated houses to beneficiaries in AMC Colony, Bhadrachalam. The renovation of these houses cost Rs 7.36 crore. He expressed satisfaction that the government had successfully provided all necessary facilities in the colony and repaired damaged houses wherever needed.

Reddy reminded people that between 2004 and 2014, the Indiramma government had built 25 lakh houses for the poor. However, in the last ten years, housing for the underprivileged was neglected. Upon coming to power, the Congress government found 1,56,000 incomplete houses. They took up their renovation and ensured the necessary amenities were provided. So far, 96,000 houses have been completed and handed over to the poor, showcasing the government’s commitment.
