    A man suspected of trying to steal something died after falling from a first-floor window in Nampally on Sunday night.

    According to the police, the man, who has not been identified, entered a building behind Gandhi Bhavan. This building was being used by construction workers as a place to stay.

    Around midnight, the workers saw him running toward a window. Before they could stop him, he slipped and fell to the ground.

    Begum Bazaar Inspector G. Vijay Kumar said that the workers thought the man was drunk and would wake up in the morning. However, he was later found dead.

    The police have registered a case of suspicious death. They are waiting for the autopsy report to decide on the next steps.
