    The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC), led by Burra Venkateshwara Rao, has announced two major national events for this year. These include a Legal Challenges Workshop in June and the National Conference of Public Service Commissions (PSCs) in December. The announcement was made during a workshop attended by representatives from 19 State PSCs and 60 delegates from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The workshop focused on how technology can improve efficiency, transparency, and reliability in public service recruitment.

    The event was organized by the Kerala Public Service Commission and took place in Thiruvananthapuram on March 22 and 23. Discussions centered on using advanced technology in recruitment processes. Key topics included computer-based testing (CBT) for smooth examinations, biometric authentication to prevent impersonation, office automation for faster processing, and exam management systems for better security. Experts also talked about using Aadhaar for candidate identification, DigiLocker for document verification, blockchain technology for data security, and AI-driven initiatives. Delegates shared their experiences to address challenges and improve the application of these technologies.

    Burra Venkateshwara Rao emphasized the importance of adopting new technology to make recruitment more transparent and efficient. He also announced that TGPSC is creating a National-Level repository of experts, categorized by subject. This database will be available to all PSCs by June 2025, helping them utilize expert knowledge more effectively.

    Rao also acknowledged the legal challenges that come with implementing technology in recruitment. To tackle these issues, TGPSC, in partnership with NALSAR, will organize a workshop on legal matters in June 2025 in Hyderabad. This event will provide expert guidance on handling legal cases and judicial matters affecting PSCs. Additionally, TGPSC will host the National Conference of State PSC Chairpersons in December 2025 in Hyderabad. TGPSC Commission Members, Prof. N. Yadaiah and P. Rajini Kumari, also attended the Thiruvananthapuram workshop.
