Senior BJP leaders from Jogulamba Gadwal district met BJP National Vice President and Palamuru MP D.K. Aruna to discuss key issues affecting the region. They submitted a memorandum requesting her help in addressing these concerns at the central level.

The memorandum was led by former BJP district president S. Ramachandra Reddy, along with Aija mandal BJP president Gopalakrishna and other senior leaders. They highlighted several important issues that need urgent attention.

One of the main demands was the approval of the Vanaparthi-Mantralayam National Highway (N.H-165). The leaders urged the central government to approve a new highway connecting Vanaparthi, Kottakota, Gadwal, Aija, and Nagaladinne. They explained that this highway would improve transportation and bring economic growth to the region.

Another major issue discussed was the need for service roads along the Chennai-Surat Super Fast Expressway (N.H-150C). Since 78 kilometers of this expressway pass through Jogulamba Gadwal district, many farmers and landowners are struggling with accessibility. The delegation asked D.K. Aruna to push for the construction of service roads on both sides of the expressway to help local communities.

The leaders also emphasized the need for food processing units in the district. Since more than 80% of the district’s population depends on agriculture, they believe setting up agro-based industries will create jobs and boost the local economy. They requested D.K. Aruna’s support in securing government approval and funding for these projects.

Additionally, the delegation requested the upgrade of the Aija town sub-post office to a Head Post Office. They pointed out that Aija is the second-largest town in the district and needs better postal services. Upgrading the post office would improve postal facilities for residents.

At the end of the meeting, D.K. Aruna assured the BJP leaders that she would bring these issues to the central government and work towards their resolution. The leaders expressed confidence that their demands would be addressed soon, leading to better infrastructure, more job opportunities, and improved connectivity in the district.
