BRS leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha has criticized the Congress-led Telangana government for borrowing large amounts of money. She demanded that the government be transparent about the state’s financial situation.

Kavitha claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government had taken loans totaling ₹1.58 lakh crore in a short period. She compared this to the previous BRS administration, which borrowed ₹4.17 lakh crore over nine years but kept proper records for every rupee.

She challenged the current government to release a white paper explaining its loans and expenses. According to her, Congress leaders were misleading the public, and people had the right to know how the state’s money was being managed.
