In the early hours of Sunday, an unknown person broke into the house of BJP National Vice President and Mahabubnagar MP DK Aruna in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The intruder remained inside for nearly two hours. The incident happened around 4 AM. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed concern and contacted Aruna for more details.
At the time of the break-in, DK Aruna was not at home. She was in Mahabubnagar to attend scheduled events.
CCTV footage from the house showed the intruder wearing gloves, a face mask, and a monkey cap. According to Laxman, the MP’s driver, the man entered the house through a window and spent a long time inside, including nearly an hour in the kitchen.
A complaint was filed at the Jubilee Hills police station, and a case was registered. The police visited the house, collected fingerprints, and started an investigation.
DK Aruna stated that the intruder entered the house at around 3:28 AM by breaking the kitchen window. He also disabled the CCTV cameras.
