Prominent social worker and president of Maneru NGO, Chintoju Bhaskar, has shared his hopes for the safe return of American astronauts Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore, who have been in space for nearly nine months.
Sunita Williams initially left for an eight-day mission on June 5. However, their Boeing Starliner spacecraft faced technical issues, causing them to remain stuck at the International Space Station (ISS).
Bhaskar mentioned that after spending nine months in space instead of a week, it is finally time for Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore to return to Earth. If weather conditions are favorable, they are expected to land on the 19th of this month.
He further stated that the astronauts would be returning in the Dragon capsule, which is set to land off the coast of Florida, USA, on Wednesday. He added that millions of people around the world are eagerly hoping for their safe return.
