The Chief Minister of Telangana recently spoke with the media about the state’s political situation. He mentioned that in the 2023 elections, voters rejected the BRS party and chose Congress instead. He expressed confidence that Congress would win again in the next elections because the government was keeping its promises.

He highlighted that the farm loan waiver scheme had already helped 25 lakh farmers. Additionally, the government aimed to support at least one crore women. The Chief Minister believed that these beneficiaries would form a strong support base for Congress in future elections. He also stated that his focus was on the state’s progress rather than personal political gain, unlike opposition leaders.

Speaking about the delimitation process, the Chief Minister said that the Union government had asked district Collectors to provide details regarding the required funds for the national census. He mentioned that the national census is expected to be completed by 2026, with the results being announced in 2027.

He further explained that the central government would decide on delimitation based on the census report. However, he warned that southern states might face unfair treatment in this process. Because of this concern, political parties and leaders from the southern states have started fighting for their rights.
