    Helping Farmers with Low-Interest Loans

The chairman explained that both the central and state governments have introduced several schemes through PACS to support farmers. These include long-term loans at a very low interest rate of just half a rupee. Additionally, funds are available for purchasing tractors, harvesters, drones, and other farming equipment under the supervision of DCCB.

He also emphasized that cooperative societies should go beyond providing loans and explore business opportunities that can benefit farmers and the public. He cited the example of Aija Society, which successfully runs a supermarket, creating both profits and employment.

    DCCB Expanding Digital Banking Services

To compete with major banks like SBI and UBI, DCCB Bank has introduced internet banking and UPI services. The chairman assured that DCCB aims to provide all types of loans at the lowest interest rates, making banking more accessible for farmers.

Solar Power Project for Financial Stability

Reddy revealed that the central government is considering allowing PACS to generate and manage solar power. A plan is in place to set up a 1-megawatt solar power system on the 4-acre land belonging to Aija Society. This project would help ensure stable salaries for society employees without financial difficulties.

To support this initiative, discussions are underway with the state government to sell four acres of government land at market rates to each society. This would strengthen their financial stability. Talks have already been held with senior revenue officials in the Jogulamba Gadwal district regarding this matter.

DCCB Aiming to Be the Top Loan Provider

The chairman concluded by stating that DCCB will soon become the leading provider of all types of loans at the lowest interest rates, surpassing other banks.

    Key Participants at the Event

The event was attended by DCCB Director Eerladinne Rangareddy and PACS chairmen from Alampur, Kothur, Kalagottla, Manavapadu, Vaddepalli, and Gattu. Other attendees included PACS secretaries, society staff, former Aija municipal chairman Devanna, and former village sarpanch Bhoompuram Narasimhareddy.
