    Osmania University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kumar, stated that the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, through the National Service Scheme (NSS), is organizing various national and international programs. These events help young people learn about unity and human values along with their education.

    To promote national unity among youth, the Higher Education Department of Odisha organized the NSS National Integration Camp from March 3 to 9. Six NSS volunteers from Tara Government College, Sangareddy, represented Telangana State in this event. They participated under the leadership of Dr. Jagadishwar, the NSS Programme Officer of the college, with the support of Osmania University.

    Osmania University Registrar, Professor Naresh Reddy, mentioned that 15 states and 36 universities took part in the camp, which was held at Berhampur University in Odisha. The Telangana team won first place in the group dance category and showcased Telangana’s cultural heritage on a national platform.

    NSS Programme Coordinator, Professor Vidyasagar, highlighted that India is a land of diverse cultures, traditions, languages, and art forms. He expressed happiness that Osmania University’s NSS volunteers secured first place in the dance category, bringing pride to Telangana and the university.

    Apart from dance, the volunteers also participated in various competitions, including quizzes, rangoli, photography, skits, singing, and solo dance. Their performances were well appreciated, earning recognition for Osmania University. Professor Vidyasagar added that more such programs will be organized in the future to bring further recognition to the university and the state.
