Former Nalgonda MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy called the suspension of former minister and Suryapet MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy unfair and undemocratic. He said Jagadish Reddy was only raising public issues in the Assembly when he was suspended.

On Thursday, BRS members from the Nalgonda constituency protested at Peddagadiaram Chowrasta in Nalgonda. They demanded that the government immediately cancel Jagadish Reddy’s suspension.

Bhupal Reddy accused the Congress government of trying to silence Jagadish Reddy. He said Jagadish Reddy was speaking about farmer loan waivers, crop failures, and the Rythu Bandhu scheme when he was suspended. He also claimed that Congress planned the suspension by pausing the Assembly for four hours, consulting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Delhi, and then executing their decision. He challenged the government to show which rule Jagadish Reddy had violated.

He further stated that Jagadish Reddy never mentioned caste, but Congress members deliberately insulted the Dalit Speaker.

Bhupal Reddy insisted that suspensions would not stop public movements. He said that under KCR’s leadership, BRS would start a new protest against the government’s anti-people policies.
