AVNL Supports Schoolgirls’ Nutrition in Sangareddy
Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), Ordnance Factory Medak, has taken a step to improve child nutrition in Sangareddy. The company has partnered with the District Educational Officer (DEO) to support the health and well-being of schoolgirls in the district.
As part of this effort, AVNL will provide nutritional supplements to students of Mandal Parishad Primary School (Girls) in Kandi Mandal, Sangareddy. This initiative is funded through AVNL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth ₹9.25 lakh to help improve students’ diets, promoting better health and academic performance.
The agreement was officially signed by K.C. Mohan, Deputy General Manager (HR) of AVNL Medak Unit, and S. Venkateswarulu, District Educational Officer of Sangareddy. Officials from both organisations attended the signing event. This initiative highlights the role of public-sector enterprises in supporting education and child welfare.
Authorities believe this collaboration will help reduce malnutrition and create a healthier future for schoolgirls in the region.
